Your favorite authors, favorite author. Mr David L

I want to highlight one of my favorite authors David L. He has written numerous books 5 to be exact
1.  Chalk outline confessions.
2. Over your dead body.
3. My life is a movie
4. Represent.
5. Chalk outline confessions ( the remix).

I think you should support the brother because he is a great author. I have read all of his books and love them. I guarantee the read  will be worth your while.

Here is a conversation to get to know the man behind the pen.
Black Wallstreets interview with  David L.

BW-Can you tell us a little about yourself?
DL.- David L. is much more than an author.  He is the CEO/President of his own publishing company, long time New York Knicks and Giants fan, native of planet Brooklyn, NY, and enjoys spending his free time playing Madden football on his X-box, watching re-runs of Married with Children, and spending time with friends and family.

BW- What sparked your interest to write books?
DL-Being the owner of an incredibly wild imagination sparked my interest in writing books!  Instead of sitting back complaining about how a movie could've been better, I instead would visualize how to actually create a new storyline using the previous blueprint.  Many storylines that I watched growing up did not have accurate representation from an African-American perspective so I created my own storylines in my head.  About a decade ago, I finally began putting my thoughts onto paper and the rest is history.

BW-  What do you find most challenging about writing?
DL-The most challenging aspect of writing is the promotional aspect required to make your writing careeer successful.  These days, everyone is calling themselves a writer, thus opening up the market for more "fly by night" wannabes.  True promotion requires diligence and time, ultimately taking away from the time required to write a novel.

BW- What made you start a publication company?
DL-I began my publiction company out of necessity because when I first began writing my first title, I sent my manuscript to well over 100+ agents and publishing companies.  After ongoing rejection letters, I decided to put it out myself.  Once I became a known name in the literary industry, many of those same agents and publishing houses began reaching out to me for representation.

BW- If up and coming writers were interested in publishing with you how would they go about it?
DL- Up and coming writers should visit my website at: www.totalpackagepublications.com in order to inquire about a writing career.  There they will see a step by step guide on how to forward their manuscript to one of my many reviewers.

How can potential clients contact you for photo shoots? FB/ IG/Business email?

Everyone should have A1 credit. So if your credits horrible follow these tips.

Obtaining great credit is pretty easy if you have the right tools.
1. Obtain a free credit report from www.annualcreditreport.com (no credit card info needed)
2. Dispute EVERYTHING. Most people don't know that these agencies that call and harass you have to prove that you owe them money so dispute it.
3. Write a pay to delete letter. Basically your telling the credit agency that I am not taking responsibility for this debt however if you can prove it's mines I will pay the debt but  your company has  to take it off my credit report COMPLETELY. Not list it as paid but wipe my debt clean ( Only send this letter if you have the money to pay. If you donor have the funds to cover the debt DO NOT SEND THE LETTER).
4.Apply for  a Secured credit card from Bank of America or Orchard Bank. A secured credit card is when the consumer puts a deposit down on a CC from 300- 4900 and that is your spending limit. At the end of a year the bank will refund your deposit back.

Once you fix your credit PAY YOUR BILLS ON TIME. Even if you have to pay with automatic bill pay. Just do it.

Comment if you have any questions, I will answer them all.
Also put your email in the comment box for a copy of the pay to delete letter.

N.Y Luxuries!!!!!! Who doesnt love candles?

Hi my name is Cherina Hamilton-Hall and I am the C.E.O of  N.Y Luxuries a luxurious candle company.  Who doesn't love candles is what was on my mind when I started my candle business. I love strong fragrant candles but there were so many candles (plain looking ) that were supposed to smell like cookies, candies, and deserts but when I got them home the aroma of the candle did not last and they smelled horrible when lit.

I decided that we diva's that love to be pampered deserved to indulge in luxurious candles that not only lit up  the whole entire house but  that matched the decor of your home, baby shower, wedding, bridal shower etc. N.Y Luxuries uses the best ingredients that will tantalize the senses as well as leaving you feeling euphoric.

We also believe that every diva is different and cater to the needs of every individual. Is there a specific fragrance you cannot live without?  Well we will customize a scent for an additional $5.  Don't see the color candles that you want? We will customize it for you also depending on the color selection up to 2 are free.

Come on and indulge in some luxury ladies. Treat yourself don’t cheat yourself.

Welcome to Black Wall Street

What is black Wall Street? Black Wall Street is a blog that will highlight black owned businesses throughout the world on all 7 continents weekly. There is no question that as a community the black dollar does not revolve around as many times as it should. Especially when it comes to putting money back into our own communities. The problem is not only the lack of money spent supporting black business but by other communities as well. Black Wall Street’s mission is to bring about  more awareness to this issue in the hopes that more people will make the conscious effort to support black owned businesses. Black Wall Street will continuously drive home the importance of Black business patronage through every media source available to us.

Please feel free to contact us to have any business highlighted that is black owned. If you are tired of spending your money with people who do not shop, live, and put back money into your  community then stay on the lookout for different businesses being highlighted. Nail salons, beauty parlors, clothing stores, book stores, restaurants, cab companies, farms etc…. etc…..etc…… so that you the consumer can go and support a sister/brother.

“We succeed if others join us in stimulating economic growth within Black communities by supporting Black-owned businesses and professionals,”- Anderson.
